Wholesale distributors of lemongrass oil which is steam distilled from the fresh leaves of the herb Cymbopogon Citratus. It is a fast growing plant, can reach up to 1.5 m in height. The plant is native to India, but can be found in South America and tropical Asia.

The oil is yellow to orange in color with a strong smell of fresh grass. The main component is Citral. It is well known as a perfume ingredient for detergents, cosmetics, soaps and is also used as a flavor ingredient, but it is also used in aromatherapy for its actions as an antimicrobial, antidepressant and antioxidant.

Literature says the oil is good for acne, as an insect repellent, muscle pain and can fight headaches
