Lemongrass oil is distilled by steaming the Cymbopogon Citratus plant. It is a fast growing plant, it can reach up to 1.5 m in height. The plant is native to India, but can be found in South America and tropical Asia.
The oil is yellow to orange in color with a strong smell of fresh grass. The main component is Citral. It is well known as a perfume ingredient for detergents, cosmetics, soaps and is also used as a flavor ingredient, but is also used in aromatherapy for its actions as an antimicrobial, antidepressant and antioxidant.
It is considered an ally as an insect repellent, muscle pain and can relieve headaches. It is not advisable to use it for facial treatments, as its odor is very intense and would be very annoying in the face area.

Relaxing massage: Try 2 drops of lemongrass in two teaspoons (10 ml) of carrier oil along with 2 drops of lavender or marjoram for a relaxing muscle massage.
Toning: Lemongrass is an essential oil that helps to tone blood circulation while firming, it also helps with fluid retention.
In a 100 ml container. Add 20 drops of lemongrass + 40 drops of geranium Egypt + 20 drops of cypress + 20 drops of rosemary, mix 50% of sesame vegetable oil with hazelnut oil.
Tired legs: The heaviness of legs is very uncomfortable, we get tired more quickly, we feel swelling, inflammation.
To alleviate this feeling we can make a synergy, in a 100 ml container. Add 20 drops of lemongrass + 40 drops of cypress + 20 drops of peppermint, mix with rosehip vegetable oil.
Muscle aches: In those areas that we feel more loaded by the day to day, especially in the back area, we can make a synergy that relieves us in that physical and emotional burden.
In a 100ml container of almond oil add 20 drops of lemongrass + 40 drops of lavender + 40 drops of sweet marjoram.
Maximum Dilution for topical use: 4 drops in 100ml
